Join us as TLA heads to Big Lots' Corporate Headquarters here in Columbus to tour their retail and eCommerce operations within their Distribution Center! Come learn more how Big Lots operates one of their largest DCs and how logistics plays a part in their warehouse. Save the date! TLA is excited to announce that we will be partnering with Risk Management Association (RMA) in a holding the inaugural TLA & RMA Business Case Simulation. Click on the "Business Simulation" tab on this website for more information!
This tour is exclusively for participants of the 2017 TLA & RMA Business Case Simulation.
The week before the simulation on Friday, March 31st, there will be an optional, but strongly encouraged, tour of the distribution center. The visit will consist of a tour of their facility, and a discussion about their business disruption and catastrophe planning, which will aid in prepping participants for the case. The site visit will depart from campus at 8:45am and return at 12:15pm. Please visit the "Business Simulaiton" tab for more information on the simulation, site visit, and registration.
Join TLA as we serve as sponsors for the FCP Speaker Series Program. FCP is hosting a speaker series featuring Archie Griffin (ex-football player and Heisman Trophy Winner), Doug Ulman (CEO of Pelotonia), and Don Casey (CEO of Medical from Cardinal Health). TLA has 60 seats for the event and this includes a private meet & greet with each speaker following the event, along with obtaining a signed item from each speaker.
